Introducing “The GRIDS Family”

The GRIDS Family! The idea of a power grid, computational grid, and graph paper grid all served as inspiration for our family name. Our name represents our desire…
- To communicate the truth of God’s word and bring the light of God and His word to people’s lives, as in an electrical power grid.
- To connect and share resources to spread God’s word to every corner of the world, much like the computational grid.
- To interconnect and collaborate, creating a global network of disciples who serve and glorify God, engaging together in perfect alignment with each other and the purpose of God, like the lines on a graph paper grid.
Our Vision

Our vision is to connect individuals from all over the world with the truth of God’s word and help them be transformed by His love and grace.
Our Mission

- To proclaim Jesus Christ and share the truth and love of God’s Word with every corner of the world, leveraging technology and collaboration to spread God’s Word.
- To create a global community of disciples who are interconnected and aligned with God’s purpose to serve as ambassadors for Christ, witnessing the transforming power of His love.
- To be good stewards of the resources, abilities, and opportunities that God has given us, using them prudently for His purposes.
Our Purpose

Our purpose is to wholeheartedly pursue the “Great Commission mandate of Jesus Christ”, sharing the Gospel with every nation, tribe, and tongue; striving to make a global community of discipleship who are transformed by God’s Word; committed to living out our faith in love and obedience; and bringing glory to Jesus Christ in every aspect of our lives.

- Community: We believe that we are called to live in community with one another, supporting and encouraging each other as we grow in our faith.
Our Beliefs

Our belief statement is centred on the Bible, which we believe is the ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. We believe in the Triune God, who exists in three distinct yet equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead on the third day, giving us redemption and the hope of eternal life. We believe in the Holy Spirit, who dwells within us and empowers us to live a life that glorifies God. We believe that salvation is entirely a gift of God’s grace, which we can only receive by faith in Jesus Christ. We believe in baptism and the Lord’s Supper as symbolic acts of obedience to God, identification with Jesus Christ, and remembrance of Him. We believe in the church, consisting of individuals who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ, and in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, who will establish His eternal kingdom and judge both the living and the dead. We believe in the promise of eternal life with God for those who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that rejecting Christ leads to eternal separation from God in Hell.

I had my encounter with Jesus Christ and His love when I was 17 years old. I was lost and desperate before this moment, looking for hope, genuine friendship, and meaning, in my life. I came from a non-Christian religious background and was looking for answers in all the wrong places; I never knew anything about Christianity or Jesus Christ. I was feeling isolated and alone, so I locked myself in my room and refused to see anyone, even my parents. It was in this time of isolation that I stumbled upon a book called “Run Baby Run” by Nicky Cruz. This autobiography, presented to my brother for his academic excellence at school, told the story of a former gang leader and drug addict who found redemption in Jesus Christ and became an evangelist. As I read the book, I found myself drawn to the message of hope and salvation, and it gave me the courage to seek truth and light in my own life.
Cruz’s story chronicles, his difficult childhood in Puerto Rico, his experiences as a gang leader in New York City, and his eventual transformation after encountering God’s love through David Wilkerson’s ministry. Reading about his journey introduced me to Jesus and His love for the first time in my life.
One passage in the book stood out to me: “Hi, Nicky. Do you remember what I told you last night? I just wanted to come by and tell you again. Nicky, Jesus loves you.” I jumped to my feet and made a motion for him. Wilkerson had obviously wised up and he jumped back out of my reach. I stood there snarling at him like an animal preparing to leap. Wilkerson looked me straight in the eye and said, “You could kill me, Nicky. You could cut me in a thousand pieces and lay them out on the street. But every piece would cry out, Jesus loves you. And you’ll never be able to run from that.” Cruz, N. (1990). Run Baby Run. Bridge-Logos Publishers. (p. 72). As I read these words, something stirred in my heart that I had never felt before. At that moment, I had my encounter with Jesus Christ and His love. I confessed my sins and asked for forgiveness, right then and there, only by the stirring of God, and felt an overwhelming, surreal sense of peace and love flowing through my heart. Since that moment, my life has changed in countless ways. I am filled with hope, have found a genuine friendship and relationship with God and meaning that I never thought possible, and have found purpose in sharing the love of God and serving others with compassion and kindness. Glory to God.
I stand here today as a testament to the unwavering love, faithfulness, and grace of God. I am blessed to have been born into a Christian family. The teachings of the Bible have been instilled in me since I was a child. My journey with Christ began in Sunday school when I accepted Him into my heart and surrendered my life to Him. I pledged to follow Him for the rest of my life.
Since that day, my faith has been a journey of growth, learning, and transformation. Through every phase of my life, both the highs and the lows, I have felt the steadfast presence of God beside me. His love has sustained me through difficult times and uplifted me, during moments of joy and celebration.
As I look back on my life, I am inspired by the incredible legacy of my father, who served God with purpose and a heart overflowing with love and burden for those around him. His life example motivated me to prioritize God in all things, to view life as God would want me to, and to serve others with compassion and kindness. Today, I stand before you, a testimony to the transformative power of God’s love and grace, and I am grateful for the blessings that God has showered upon me. It is my hope and prayer that my life will also inspire others to seek a deeper relationship with Him, experience His boundless love, and live a life of purpose and meaning. I know that my journey with Christ is far from over, but I take comfort in knowing He will be with me every step of the way. To God be the glory!

I am grateful for the parents God has given me and the Christian upbringing in my life that fill me with gratitude. Growing up, I was fortunate to have a solid foundation of faith and love that shaped my beliefs and values.
However, my journey towards accepting Jesus Christ as my saviour was not a smooth one. At the age of 17, I had a lot of doubts and inhibitions that held me back from fully surrendering my life to the Lord. Although I witnessed all the amazing things God was doing around me, I hesitated to accept Him.
But Jesus Christ was patient with me. He answered each of my queries in different ways, even though I had not yet fully accepted Him. He gently built my trust in Him, and I realized that I could depend on Him completely.
Then, I took the leap of faith and devoted my life to Jesus Christ. Since then, I have felt a weight lifted off my shoulders and found peace in Him. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it was worth it. Now, I am filled with a sense of purpose and joy that I have never experienced before. I can confidently say that Jesus Christ’s love and grace have transformed my life. I am grateful for the blessings that I have received, and I am inspired to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.
I had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ. When the lockdown started, I was just thirteen years old, and like many people, I was scared and uncomfortable with all the changes that were happening in the world. However, I found solace and comfort in the family prayers that we would have together.
During these family prayers, I felt a sense of calmness and control that I had not experienced before. It was as if I had found refuge in the presence of God, and it gave me the strength to face the challenges of the pandemic with renewed faith and hope.
After some time of participating in our family prayers, I began to pray on my own during my personal time. It was during one of these moments that I made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as my saviour. The decision was a personal one, but it was guided by the love and support that I had received from my family.
After accepting Jesus Christ as my saviour, my life has changed. I have a sense of purpose and direction that I have never experienced before, and I feel a deep and unexplainable joy that fills my heart and soul. I am grateful for the love and support that I have received from my family as I continue to grow in my faith. I know that I am not alone in this journey, and I take comfort in the knowledge that we are all united in our shared belief in Jesus Christ.
