Journey of Christian Faith and Devotion: Poetic Reflections
A Ballad: The Journey Through the Wilderness
In the wilderness, we trekked with glee,
Through mountain forests, wild and free,
The path was rough, the climb was steep,
But we journeyed on, with faith to keep.
As I walked along, the trees grew tall;
The birds sang sweetly, a natural call.
The sun shone brightly on my face,
And I felt blessed in God's embrace.
But as I climbed higher, I lost my way,
And stumbled hard, on rocks that day,
My leg twisted, and in pain, I cried,
Feeling helpless, my faith was tested and tried.
Fellow trekkers rushed to my side,
With compassion and care, they did provide,
They helped me up, without hesitation,
And carried me back, with pure dedication.
I was a burden, to them that day,
But they didn't complain, nor turn away,
They showed me kindness, with a heart of gold,
And at that moment, my faith did unfold.
In the wilderness, I learned to trust,
In God's love, that will never rust,
And in the hearts of those, who carry us through,
When we stumble and fall, and feel so blue.
So in the mountain forest adventure, I found,
A deeper faith and love that abound,
And in the embrace of fellow trekkers, who never let go,
I discovered the beauty, of God's love that flows.
Through trials and challenges, we may face,
God's love will never leave nor forsake,
And with the help of those, who love and care,
We'll find the strength, to journey anywhere.
In the wilderness, we learn and grow,
Our faith and trust in God will overflow,
And with each step we take, we'll find,
His love and grace are forever intertwined.
