Three simple inspirations. One heartfelt desire: to make Christ known and His Word accessible to all.
The name “The GRIDS Family” draws inspiration from three familiar concepts, each reflecting something close to our hearts.
The Power Grid: Sharing God’s Light
As electricity brings light to homes and communities, our desire is to share God’s Word, illuminating lives with the truth, love, and hope found in Jesus Christ.
The Computational Grid: Connecting Biblical Resources
Across distances and boundaries, resources come together for a common purpose. Likewise, we seek to bring biblical teaching and spiritual encouragement within reach of those longing to know God more deeply.
The Graph Paper Grid: Growing Together in Faith
Where lines intersect, connections take shape. We envision a fellowship where believers encourage one another, grow together in God’s Word, and serve Christ with love and purpose.
This is the heart of GRIDS: Gospel, Resources, Interconnection, Discipleship, and Stewardship.

Our Beliefs
What we believe shapes how we live, what we share, and whom we serve.
We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the trustworthy authority for our faith and life. It reveals the one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and leads us to Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, who became human, lived without sin, died for our sins, and rose bodily from the dead.
We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace, received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Through the indwelling presence and transforming work of the Holy Spirit, we are called to grow in holiness, love, obedience, and faithful service.
We believe in the Church as the body of Christ, the importance of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and the calling to worship God, encourage one another, and make disciples. We look forward with hope to the personal return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection, final judgment, and the fulfillment of God’s eternal promises.
These convictions are the foundation of our faith and the heart of everything we share.

Our Testimonies
Different Journeys. Stories of Grace. One Faithful God.
Every life has a real story, and every encounter with God’s grace is deeply personal.
Our family’s journey with Jesus Christ has unfolded in different ways, through moments of searching, questions, prayer, and the quiet faithfulness of God.
We share these testimonies with grateful hearts, remembering how His love and grace have touched our lives.
These are our stories. Our hope is that they will encourage others to reflect on God’s faithfulness and share their own experiences of His grace.
1. When I First Encountered the Love of Christ
An unexpected encounter that changed the direction of my life.
I had my encounter with Jesus Christ and His love when I was 17 years old. I was lost and desperate before this moment, looking for hope, genuine friendship, and meaning in my life. I came from a non-Christian religious background and was looking for answers in all the wrong places; I never knew anything about Christianity or Jesus Christ. I was feeling isolated and alone, so I locked myself in my room and refused to see anyone, even my parents. It was in this time of isolation that I stumbled upon a book called “Run Baby Run” by Nicky Cruz. This autobiography, presented to my brother for his academic excellence at school, told the story of a former gang leader and drug addict who found redemption in Jesus Christ and became an evangelist. As I read the book, I found myself drawn to the message of hope and salvation, and it gave me the courage to seek truth and light in my life.
Cruz’s story chronicles his difficult childhood in Puerto Rico, his experiences as a gang leader in New York City, and his eventual transformation after encountering God’s love through David Wilkerson’s ministry. Reading about his journey introduced me to Jesus and His love for the first time in my life.
One passage in the book stood out to me: “Hi, Nicky. Do you remember what I told you last night? I just wanted to come by and tell you again. Nicky, Jesus loves you.” I jumped to my feet and made a motion for him. Wilkerson had obviously wised up, and he jumped back out of my reach. I stood there snarling at him like an animal preparing to leap. Wilkerson looked me straight in the eye and said, “You could kill me, Nicky. You could cut me in a thousand pieces and lay them out on the street. But every piece would cry out, Jesus loves you. And you’ll never be able to run from that.”
Cruz, N. (1990). Run Baby Run. Bridge-Logos Publishers. (p. 72).
As I read these words, something stirred in my heart that I had never felt before. I first encountered Jesus Christ and His love at that precise moment. I confessed my sins and asked for forgiveness, right then and there, only by the stirring of God, and I felt an overwhelming, surreal sense of peace and love flowing through my heart. Since that moment, my life has changed in countless ways. I am filled with hope, have found a genuine friendship and relationship with God and meaning that I never thought possible, and have discovered purpose in sharing the love of God and serving others with compassion and kindness. Glory to God.
2. A Legacy of Faith, Sustained by Grace
The blessing of a Christian upbringing and the enduring faithfulness of God.
I stand here today as a testament to the unwavering love, faithfulness, and grace of God. I am blessed to have been born into a Christian family. The teachings of the Bible have been instilled in me since I was a child. My journey with Christ began in Sunday school when I accepted Him into my heart and surrendered my life to Him. I pledged to follow Him for the rest of my life.
Since that day, my faith has been a journey of growth, learning, and transformation. Through every phase of my life, both the highs and the lows, I have felt the steadfast presence of God beside me. His love has sustained me through difficult times and uplifted me during moments of joy and celebration.
As I look back on my life, I am inspired by the incredible legacy of my father, who served God with purpose and a heart overflowing with love and burden for those around him. His life example motivated me to prioritize God in all things, to view life as God would want me to, and to serve others with compassion and kindness. Today, I stand before you, a testimony to the transformative power of God’s love and grace, and I am grateful for the blessings that God has showered upon me. It is my hope and prayer that my life will also inspire others to seek a deeper relationship with Him, experience His boundless love, and live a life of purpose and meaning. I know my journey with Christ is far from over, but I’m comforted by His constant presence. To God, be the glory!
3. Making Faith My Own
Discovering a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
I am grateful for the parents God has given me, and the Christian upbringing in my life fills me with gratitude. Growing up, I was fortunate to have a solid foundation of faith and love that shaped my beliefs and values.
However, my journey toward accepting Jesus Christ as my savior was not smooth. At the age of 17, I had many doubts and inhibitions that held me back from fully surrendering my life to the Lord. Although I witnessed all the wonderful things God was doing around me, I hesitated to accept Him.
But Jesus Christ was patient with me. He answered each of my queries in different ways, even though I had not yet fully accepted Him. He gently built my trust in Him, and I realized that I could depend on Him completely.
Then, I boldly committed my life to Jesus Christ. Since then, I have experienced a sense of relief and tranquility in Him. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it was worth it. Now, I am filled with a sense of purpose and joy that I have never experienced before. I can confidently say that Jesus Christ’s love and grace have transformed my life. I am grateful for the blessings that I have received, and I am inspired to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.
4. Finding Christ in a Season of Uncertainty
When the world stood still, prayer took on a new meaning.
I had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative power of faith in Jesus Christ. When the lockdown started, I was just thirteen years old, and like many people, I was scared and uncomfortable with all the changes that were happening in the world. However, I found solace and comfort in the family prayers that we would have together.
During these family prayers, I felt a sense of calmness and control that I had not experienced before. It was as if I had found refuge in the presence of God, and it gave me the strength to face the challenges of the pandemic with renewed faith and hope.
After some time of participating in our family prayers, I began to pray on my own during my personal time. It was during one of these moments that I made the life-changing decision to accept Jesus Christ as my savior. The decision was personal, but it was guided by the love and support that I had received from my family.
After accepting Jesus Christ as my savior, my life has changed. I have a sense of purpose and direction that I have never experienced before, and I feel a deep and unexplainable joy that fills my heart and soul. I am grateful for the love and support that I have received from my family as I continue to grow in my faith. I know that I am not alone in this journey, and I take comfort in the knowledge that we are all united in our shared belief in Jesus Christ.
Our Family’s Journey
Still learning. Still growing. Still grateful for God’s grace.
As a family, we recognize that every person’s journey is different. Faith is deeply personal, and each life has its own experiences, questions, decisions, and seasons.
Through the years, we have shared moments of joy, prayer, learning, and challenges. We continue to discover the importance of patience, love, understanding, and depending on God’s grace.
Our desire is to live faithfully before God, love one another sincerely, and share the hope we have found in Jesus Christ.
We are still learning, still growing, and still trusting the Lord in the unfolding chapters of our lives.
May our stories, however ordinary or imperfect, always direct attention to the goodness, mercy, and faithfulness of God.
To God alone be the glory.
